Soon, it will be time once again for Mansfield locals to congregate for fun downtown. This year’s Wisteria Street Market will feature vendors in booths, entertainment, and lots of fun for people of all ages.
The Market is held each year to promote shopping, eating, mingling, and generally having a lot of fun. This year, in addition to the vendor booths, there will also be a silent auction, an art area for locals to show off their talents, a free make-and-take crafts area, food trucks, and a bounce house for the little ones.
The timing of the event makes it easy for locals to buy gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Also, notably new this year, there will be a Vignette Photo Bus, which be on hand to allow attendees to take photographs of themselves and others in a variety of interesting, fun, and unique settings—the results of which attendees can use for later postcard printing, if they so wish.
The Market will be held this year, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 26, at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria, Mansfield, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be no cost to attend, but most will want to bring some cash for making vendor purchases or to take part in activities like face painting. There will be plenty of parking available.
