Mansfield reading aficionados will soon be provided with a treat thanks to the upcoming appearance of a New York Times bestselling author.
In just a few weeks, the Mansfield Public Library will be hosting An Evening with Paula McLain. This author is famous for her popular 2021 book titled When the Stars Go Dark, as well as The Paris Wife. She will be discussing the writing process and her inspiration for the novel, and she will also be happy to take any questions.
This event is part of a larger community series known as Mansfield Reads! One City, One Book. The primary intention is to encourage literacy throughout the greater Mansfield area, and to raise awareness of the services provided by the local library. This movement originated in Seattle in 1998, and it has gained a nationwide following in the years since.
Local events will frequently use tried and tested marketing strategies to connect with the target audience. Some common examples include brochure printing, distributing Flyers throughout community centers, and encouraging others to share posts across relevant social media circles.
The event is taking place on Friday, April 10 at 7:00 PM. It will be held at the Mansfield Public Library located at 104 South Wisteria Street. This program is free to attend, and no prior registration is required to participate.
