Mansfield history to take to the local stage

Mansfield boasts a rich history, and organizers have announced an upcoming play that will display the roots of this town in front of a live audience.

This event is ideal for those who wish to learn more about the community, and it is open to all ages.

The Porch: The History of Mansfield presents this community in a unique light through music, on-stage performances, modern digital technology, and historical reenactments. It follows a discussion between two elderly Mansfield residents. As they begin to recount their memories, these images will be brought back to life so that the audience can appreciate their experiences from a first-person perspective.

The play intends to cover various chapters of Mansfield. These include the founding of the city, the arrival of railroads, the growth of local businesses, and the numerous other events that have shaped the area throughout its existence.

Theatrical performances often employ well-known advertising strategies that resonate with the target audience in question. Common approaches include mass brochure printing, hanging Posters in community centers, and distributing Flyers that provide a brief outline of what guests can expect.

The Porch: The History of Mansfield is being performed on Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12 at 7 PM. This event will be hosted by Farr Best Theatre located at 109 North Main Street. Tickets cost $42.42 per person, and only a limited number of seats are available.
