Countless cities throughout Texas have found unique ways to celebrate the birth of the United States. While some of these involve fireworks and carnivals, Mansfield has decided to do things a bit different thanks to an upcoming running competition.
The Red, Hot & Blue 4-Miler is a patriotic competition open to all types of fitness enthusiasts. While some will arrive for the competition, others who simply wish to walk the entire route are just as welcome to attend. There is also a one-mile event ideally suited for children, and individuals who may be suffering from mobility issues.
This course of this event will pass through some of the most scenic locations throughout Mansfield. These include McKnight Park, and Walnut Creek Linear Trail. Everyone who participates will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a medal. Additional on-site attractions include snacks, family-friendly activities, and live music.
Events commonly associated with audience participation will often adopt proactive marketing strategies to capture the attention of the public. A handful of proven methods include brochure printing, creating maps of the course, reserving airtime on nearby radio stations, and printing custom Apparel.
The Mansfield Red, Hot & Blue 4-Miler is being held on Saturday, July 4th, and racers can arrive as early as 6 AM. This event will commence at McKnight Park located at 700 US 27 Frontage Road. Tickets start at $30 per attendee.
