Mansfield art patrons will be marking their Calendars for the fourth annual ArtScapes, presented by the Mansfield Commission for the Arts this September.
A fine arts display will greet guests as they head toward the banquet hall. There, they will be met with live music. Attendees will be invited to meander around the hall, viewing the art-themed table decorations, and voting for their favorite.
Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and local bakeries will offer their special gourmet desserts. There will also be pop-up performances.
Smaller art displayed around the room will be available for purchase. The larger pieces will be for bid at the live auction that will be taking place at the end of the evening. Some other items up for bid will be show, dinner, and vacation packages.
Patrons may also buy mystery gift Boxes for $25 apiece or $60 for three. Each box will contain art at least worth $25. Contents of several boxes will have higher value.
Individual tickets will cost $125 and tables with eight seats will cost $900. If purchasers decorate their own tables they will receive a $100 discount.
Organizations that host events such as this often have photographers taking pictures throughout the evening. These pictures may become part of the following year’s visitor guide brochure printing.
ArtScapes will be at the Walnut Creek Country Club, 1151 Country Club Drive Thursday, September 24 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
