The arrival of February means it will soon be time for the ‘Mansfield Cares Black and White Charity Ball’.
The organizers hope that guests will enjoy dancing the night away while supporting many of the area’s charities.
The music will be provided by the King David Band. Hailing from Frisco, Texas, the 14-piece band covers dance music from the 1960s to the today’s charts. Genres include dance, jazz, funk, rock, hip-hop, R&B, and pop. The ensemble comes complete with three female vocalists and a six-piece horn section.
The evening will also include hors d’oeuvres, and both a live and silent auction.
Mansfield Care is a non-profit organization the mission of which is to aid economically challenged families and children in the Mansfield Independent School district. Some initiatives that will benefit from this ball will be the food voucher program for the school children, the annual school supply drive, emergency financial assistance, and local adoption services.
Those people who want to do more to get information about this event out to the public may wish to distribute Flyers to their neighborhoods or places of employment. If their social organizations have yet to get their monthly newsletter printing done, they may want to include information in their February release.
Everyone will want to mark their Calendars for February 27. The ball starts at 7:00 pm at the Walnut Creek Country Club, 1151 Country Club Drive, Mansfield.
