It is not too early for Mansfield’s gardeners and everyone who is interested in outdoor living to mark their Calendars for next month’s first annual H2Grow Spring Living Festival. This will be an opportunity for everyone to get outdoors and welcome spring.
The DIY stage will have a presentation on ‘Best Planting for Mansfield’, followed by a program entitled ‘Residential Landscape Design’. After lunch, The Dirt Doctor, Howard Garrett. will have a book signing. Following that, there will be a show called ‘Fixing Leaks Inside and Out’, and the final talk will be ‘Composting 101’.
A farmers’ market will offer eco-friendly, recycled, and reclaimed products for sale. The event will also have a rain barrel and a silent auction.
Meanwhile, the younger guests will have their own Kids’ Corner where there will be Veggie Derby Car Races, a rock climbing wall, and upcycling nature crafts. For a $5 entry fee, children under the age of 15 can enter the Fishing Derby. Enviroscapes will also keep the children entertained as they learn about the world around them.
Those attending will want to have their digital Business Cards updated or get some business cards printed to be sure they have enough cards on hand to share information with other attendees and presenters.
