Mansfield will hold “A Salute to Service” next month, an event that honors veterans. The event will feature several musical performances, and locals are invited to join and watch.
The concert will be put on by Fort Worth’s Songwriter’s Association. Guests can expect names like Rob Owen, Michael Conner, and Theodore A. Henning to be at the event. Owen, in particular, has performed with Grammy-winning artists and is often heard on the radio. Each performer is also a veteran, and they will perform in dedication to others who have served in the military.
The FWSA also holds other events and concerts throughout the year. These activities are often promoted with the help of brochure and poster printing, so locals can keep an eye out for these if interested.
A Salute to Service will happen on November 9, which is Veteran’s Day. The concert will take place between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM. The venue for the event is the Farr Best Theater, located at 109 North Main Street. Tickets to watch are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Additionally, veterans watch the concert free of charge.
Each visitor will also receive a free snack and drink to enjoy while the concert plays out. Anyone with more questions can email Rosalie Gilbert at Rosalie.gilbert@mansfieldtexas.gov or call 807-728-3383.
