Mansfield to hold annual winter run

Mansfield, Texas is set to host its annual Snowman Run in early 2022.

There are several options for the race. Participants can run in the 5K, the Family One Mile Walk, or the Virtual 5K. Awards will be given to participants across a wide range of ages, including 8 and under, and 60 and over.

As with many events of its kind, this Snowman Run will feature more than physical activity. It will be fun for the whole family, featuring prizes, ‘smores, and hot chocolate. Since the weather will likely be cold, race organizers are encouraging attendees to bundle up and wear their warmest, comfiest clothing.

The event registration is at a reduced price of $20 until January 3. After that, the price will be $30 per registrant. Once registered, guests can pick up their packet at Academy Sports & Outdoors. Packets come with a T-shirt and other prizes and swag.

Mansfield residents can usually expect to see a wide range of marketing materials for events like this event, including poster and banner printing across town.

The event, which is a run or walk race, will be held on Saturday, January 15, at 8:00 am. It will take place at Katherine Rose Memorial Park, located at 303 N. Walnut Creek Drive. To register, visit the event’s listing on Race Roster.
