Soon Mansfield will be getting a double dose of Halloween festivities, as two upcoming events feature ghoulish celebrations.
One will be a ‘Boo Bash’ and the other will be a ‘Night on the Town’. Mansfield ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to attend.
The Night on the Town will have, of course, a Halloween theme. To get the evening started there will be a Ghost and Goblins Fun Run. Afterwards, everyone can enjoy a ride on the Haunted Train. The younger set will no doubt relish the bounce houses, and the whole family can cuddle up for a movie.
The ‘Boo Bash’ will be held a few nights later. It will be an evening of Halloween crafts and carnival games. Kids can go on hayrides and win goodies by participating in a bake walk. Snacks, including s’mores, will be available.
The first howling evening will be The Night on the Town ,which will be from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm on October 24 at the Katherine Rose Memorial Park, 303 North Walnut Creek Drive, Mansfield.
The other evening, the ‘Boo Bash’ will be October 30 starting at 6:00 pm and going until 8:00 pm at the Mansfield Activity Center, 106 South Wisteria Street. Anyone wanting to do a little flyer printing may want to distribute reminders throughout the community.
