Mansfield fitness enthusiasts can start the new year running with three race options in January.
RunUnited and The Fit Lab will start the new year with The Resolutions Restart 5K on Saturday, January 4 at 8:00 am. Participants are invited to run or walk the 3.1 mile course. A Resolution Restart Kids’ Fun Run will begin five minutes later. Both races will be a James McKnight Park East, 700 U.S. 287 Frontage Road.
The 2020 Snowman Run will be a family-friendly 5K and a Family one-mile walk. Swag includes a T-shirt and race Bags with the event’s Logo Design on them.
Although the timed race/run will be open to everyone, awards will only go to the top three girl and boy finishers in the four age divisions. The run will take place on Saturday, January 11 at Katherine Rose Memorial Park. Everyone is invited to stay and enjoy hot cocoa and s’mores.
The 7th Annual Mansfield Run With Hearth will be on Saturday, January, 25 from 6:00 am until 11:30 am at the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, 2700 E. Broad Street. This event will have a half marathon, 5K, and a one-mile Fun Walk/Run. Half marathon finishers will receive finishers medals, and overall and top finishers in each age group will receive awards in the 5K and half marathon. The post-race festival will begin at 8:15 am.
