Mansfield prepares for December celebrations

Santa, elves, snow, candy canes, karaoke, carolers, and Christmas shopping will keep Mansfield in the festive mood all December long.

Running from December 14th to 23rd, the Farr Best Theater will be the venue for ‘Celebrate Christmas! A Holiday Family Treat’, presented by the Luminosity Theatre Center. This production transports the audience to a 1960s holiday special, complete with singing, commercials, and special guests. Tickets for this performance are available between $15-$18 for purchase online.

On Friday, December 15 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, The LOT will host an Old Fashioned Holiday Night. Attendees can enjoy carolers, festive lights, and a classic movie screening. Admission to this nostalgic holiday experience is free. Events such as this can make use of flyer printing in order to share important information to potential guests.

A Candy Cane Hunt is scheduled to take place at James McKnight Park East on December 22nd, running from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Families are encouraged to participate in the event, where attendees can engage in a candy cane search, have the opportunity to win prizes, and capture holiday photos. Admission to the Candy Cane Hunt is also free.

Then, on Thursday, December 28, The LOT will host After Christmas Karaoke from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The event will feature activities such as karaoke sessions, Bingo and a sing-along movie. Admission to this post-Christmas entertainment is free for all attendees.
