Mansfield celebrates total eclipse

Mansfield, Texas is getting ready for the kickoff to the Total Eclipse Weekend as the free Music and Arts Fest returns for another year.

The Music and Arts Fest has planned various experiences, with three stages of live music and dance, captivating street performers, talented artist vendors, engaging hands-on activities, thrilling arts competitions, delectable food offerings, and much more.

The Art Bus, a traveling art studio working with children to bring out their artistic spirit, will be present at the event. Kids will be able to take the masterpieces they create home at the end of the session. The bus is known for traveling all over the country offering the opportunity for kids to get immersed in art.

Themed astronomical guests and an entire evening dedicated to the eclipse will also feature at the festival, setting the stage for the celestial eclipse phenomenon in the DFW area. The UTA Planetarium will have information on the solar system, stars, and distant galaxies, as well as an eclipse-themed planetarium show that all attendees can enjoy. Flyer printing would be a great way to get the word out on where the speakers will be set up and where exhibits will be located.

There is plenty more excitement to be unveiled in the coming months, with some festivities planned over the full weekend in Mansfield. This event will be from 4pm to 10 pm on April 6, 2024, at the Historic Downtown Mansfield, 105 Walnut St, Mansfield.
