Anyone in Lewisville who is curious about smart technology of any kind should plan to attend an upcoming workshop.
Omron Automation and Innovative-IDM are teaming up to present a technology showcase, as well as a complimentary learning session. The idea of the event is to help people learn about smart technologies, how valuable they are, and how to best incorporate them into their own businesses. The organizers are inviting attendees to see smart manufacturing technologies at work. These include solutions for machine safety; machine automation systems; solutions for machine traceability and vision; motion and control components; and robots.
The workshop is entitled “Reliable and cost-effective approach for managing machine data in real-time,” and will show attendees how to collect data most effectively; how to efficiently share raw data from the manufacturing floor; and how to use the ability of machines to learn.
The event is scheduled for February 27, with the technology workshop running from 10.00 am until 12.00 pm, and the technology showcase ongoing, from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm. During the showcase, attendees will be able to visit with experts, who will have demos available. Lunch will be provided, and the venue is Innovative-IDM, in Suite 100, at 301 West Vista Ridge Mall Drive in Lewisville.
