Friday Friends will host the Not-Back-to-School Bash this September for any Lewisville homeschooling families looking for a fun, enriching event to begin their school year.
The Not-Back-to-School Bash is specifically designed to appeal to homeschoolers and their families looking for a way to prepare for the upcoming homeschool year in their own individual ways. Friday Friends is a homeschool community group that hosts meetups and special events to connect the Lewisville homeschool community. September’s event will be the first Not-Back-to-School Bash that they have hosted.
Each family in attendance will receive a family welcome kit as well as access to curriculum tools and planning resources. There will also be Learning Snapshots in reading and math, a themed photo wall, plus various games and hands-on activities. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. All ticket proceeds go towards the organization’s transition to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and programs like MakerFest, Junior Board, and Future Fridays series.
