Lewisville to offer meet-and-greet with local artists

The Conversations with Artists: What Were They Thinking? event will be held in Lewisville next month to offer the public an opportunity to meet and chat with local artists, learning about their inspiration and works.

The event will be held by the Visual Art League of Lewisville of which the artists are members of. The Visual Art League is an all-volunteer organization focuses on fine crafts and visual arts. The organization hosts several member-based art shows in which members can display their artwork, connect with the community, and gather constructive criticism.

The Conversations will invite the public and other members of the League to come out to hear artists speak about their admission in the Portrait Gallery Exhibit. Attendees will be able to ask questions and learn about the artists’ inspiration, meaning intended, and materials utilized to create the artwork. After the conversation potion, guests will vote on different art awards, and these will also be handed out at the event.

Visual art events like this may benefit from being advertised on colorful Posters that are able to do justice to the spirit of the event. These Posters can be professional printed at many local Print shops specializing in poster printing.

The Conversations with Artists is slated for June 1 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. It will be held at Lewisville Grand Theater, located at 100 North Charles Street.
