Lewisville to host free theater workshop

Next month, Our Productions Theatre Co. & Young Artists Training Program will hold the Musical Theatre Workshop for Lewisville adults ages 18 and up.

Established in 1993, Our Productions Theatre Co. is a professional, non-profit theater that supports and nurtures cultural growth and artistic expression in North Texas. The theater is community-driven, offering educational programs such as the Young Artists Training Program, which fosters the development of future artists.

The non-profit in conjunction with the Young Artists Training Program will hold next month’s free musical theater workshop for young adults who wish to hone their theatrical skills. This workshop is part of community outreach efforts during the organization’s 30th anniversary celebration.

Led by faculty members of the Young Artists Program, the workshop is designed to appeal to participants of all experience levels. The class will include an introduction to vocal technique exercises and to the music and choreography of Broadway musicals. Participants will need to arrive dressed in comfortable clothes and ready to sing.
