In honor of Mother’s Day, Lewisville’s own Paint with Purpose will hold its Paint in the Park event, an outdoor painting class in which participants will get to create their own mandalas.
Paint with Purpose is a local small business that holds painting-centered classes in order to facilitate discussion among community members, and give back to non-profits in the North Texas area. The organization also encourages its attendees to make a donation to these non-profits when attending its events.
Paint in the Park will be a two-hour event in which attendees will learn how to paint a mandala painting. All supplies will be included, but participants are welcome to bring acrylic paint colors of their preference if they wish. Organizers also ask that students wear appropriate clothing as painting smocks will not be provided. Complimentary wine will be served for those 21 and up. Restrooms will be accessible at Tavern on The Plaza or Perk Coffee House if needed.
