The Grand Ol' Christmas Show is on the way to Lewisville, and promises to put a new spin on the classic holiday tales.
There will be two performances of the show, thanks to HNH Productions and Will Hearn. The performance is a variety show that is one-of-a-kind, combining slapstick and favorite Christmas classics into one rollicking event.
The show features Blue Water Highway, a national touring band that performs American standards. Also on the program are some of Texas' best entertainers and artists, all backed by the fiction N-O-E-L Radio Orchestra and the station's gospel singers.
The show is set in a radio show “studio” that is being broadcast live in the 1940s on the N-O-E-L radio network, 1225 AM. The show uses the nostalgic lens of a past era to examine some of today's culturally relevant and progressive ideas. The show is suitable for audience members of all ages, who will be taken back to a forgotten time and be left them with the joy of the holidays. Organizers of events like this could consider distributing promotional Pens as part of the production.
‘The Grand Ol' Christmas Show’ will be performed twice on the same day, at 4:00 pm and again at 8:00 pm, on December 22, at the Medical Center Lewisville Grand Theater on North Charles Street. Free parking is available on Church and Main streets, or at the Lewisville City Hall.
