This October, Lewisville women should note that the event lauded as the area’s premier women’s heath event, The Fit and Fabulous Health and Wellness Expo 2023, is coming to town.
The expo is a health initiative created to promote the health, fitness, and wellbeing of the women of the Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas. It is held every year thanks to the collaboration between the Tau Rho Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation. Both organizations support programs and initiatives to boost the health and wellness of the surrounding communities, as well as address social inequality and health disparities.
The event will feature an exhibit hall containing numerous vendors offering products and services in the fitness, wellness, and beauty industries. There will also be several seminars and educational workshops on the important health topics and issues of today. This year’s theme is “Health and Wellness Homecoming.”
