Lewisville festival to make colorful splash

This April will welcome the return of the Lewisville ColorPalooza Festival, which is intended as both a celebration of spring and of Lewisville's culture of creativity, artistic spirit, and eco-friendly mindset.

ColorPalooza invites the entire community of Lewisville to come out and celebrate the beautiful spring season by participating in creative and colorful activities. There will also be interactive art installations and displays showcasing local artists, as well as family-friendly entertainment and live cultural performances. Organizers hope that the festival will provide something for everyone to do enjoy as they explore the eco-friendly, vibrant spirit of the town.

The festival will include activities such as Paint Your Own Cookies, DIY Tie Dye, oragami classes, sun prints, braided friendship bracelets, Mad Science DFW STEM activities, and chalk art. Old Town Barbershop will offer jewelry making, outdoor games, colored hair wax, and glitter gel art. Some featured bands and performance artists include Mariachi Roses Divanas, the Grace Han Band, and Danza Azteca Guadalupana.

Town festivals will often take place in outdoor venues that are decorated with streamers and Banners. Local Print shops offering affordable banner printing services may partner with these event organizers to prepare for the event.

The Lewisville ColorPalooza is scheduled for April 26 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held in Old Town Lewisville in Wayne Ferguson Plaza.
