Lewisville will pay tribute to Texas Independence Day by hosting the Texas Independence Day 5K this March, for anyone interested in celebrating the day with a fun, healthy activity.
The 5K will be hosted by the One Tribe Foundation, which is a veterans’ organization that offers support to veterans, first responders, law enforcement, medical frontline workers and their families in combating veteran suicide and mental illness crises. The organization raises awareness of these issues as well as advocates for traditional and nontraditional therapies to help struggling veterans.
The run is in its second year and invites the community of Lewisville to come out and celebrate the day of Texas Independence by donning red, white, and blue and run, walk, or ruck the 5K course around a picturesque course.
The event will also feature music and refreshments, as well as a vendor row representing various businesses throughout the state. Attendees can also enjoy perusing the Fast Rides & Freedom Car & Bike Showcase.
Runs are events that often prominently feature Banners that either display the start and finish lines or celebrate the theme of the event. Organizers may seek out local shops offering affordable banner printing services to prepare for such events.
The 5K will be held on March 1 from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm. It will take place at 2911 Lake Vista Drive.Get a Free Quote for Banners
