Next month, the Highland Village Art Festival will take place in Lewisville to engage the community and raise money for Kids Kastle.
The festival is made possible by the collaboration between the City of Highland Village and The Shops at Highland Village. Proceeds raised from vendor sales will go towards the continued operations and maintenance of the newly renovated Kids Kastle, a play area that was community designed and built in 1994 and received much needed renovations in 2020.
The event will feature over 30 artist booths highlighting gallery-quality artists and their works. There will also be artist demonstrations, such as painting and pottery, and interactive children’s art activities. Live entertainment and musical performances will take place in the south courtyard of The Shops at Highland Village near the Chico’s. Anyone with questions or comments can contact Andra Foreman at aforeman@highlandvillage.org.
