An upcoming event is designed to support local Old Town Lewisville establishments and two worthy charities at the same time.
The Old Town Christmas Crawl gives participants the chance to stop in and enjoy four local restaurants/bars, and support two important non-profit organizations. Ticket holders will be able to stop at Sloan and Williams, Prairie House, the Old Town Wine House, and the Tavern on the Plaza, each of which will serve a specialty drink.
The tickets are $45 each, with one-third of the total of the ticket sales going to support Cloud 9 Charities, and the C7 Human Trafficking Coalition. Cloud 9 Charities comprises local business owners and leaders who are passionate about giving back to the community, and who help fund Bedtime Rescue, which provides temporary shelter for those who are homeless. C7 is a non-profit organization that works to provide information about trafficking, and eliminate it.
In addition to supporting the charities and receiving specialty drinks, a ticket purchase entitles the buyer to an Old Town Christmas Crawl T-shirt.
The event begins at 6:30 pm on December 5, and is a “come and go” event, meaning people can move at their own pace. The starting point is Alkeys Lounge & Eatery on West Main Street. Banner printing can be used to create directional signage for events like this, as well as seasonal decorations for the area.
