Next month, the 3rd Annual Swing Your Wood Golf Tournament will be held in Carrollton, just 10 minutes away from Lewisville, to benefit the North Texas Warrior Golf Association (NTWGA).
The charity golf tournament will be hosted by the popular event organization Professional Partiers to raise money for the North Texas Warrior Golf Association (NTWGA), a 501(c)(3) public charity that aims to provide injured military members in North Texas with rehabilitative golfing activities. The NTWGA originally began 10 years ago with the mission of holding fundraising events to support the Salute Military Golf Association, but it soon evolved to host its own rehabilitative golfing clinics as well.
The golf tournament will feature a four-person scramble, in which four players in a team all compete against each other. Each player will have the chance to hit from a tee box, and their team members will choose the best of four shots.
The golf fundraiser will take place on Saturday, June 19, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm, beginning with a shotgun start. The venue will be the Indian Creek Golf Club 1650 West Frankford Road, Carrollton. Ticket prices depend on whether participants register as individuals or groups.
