Next month, Jayne Marie Holistic in Lewisville will host the Yoga Meow: Yoga with Adoptable Cats event for cat lovers and yoga enthusiasts alike.
Jayne Marie Holistic is an alternative and holistic health service lead by Jayne Marie, a reiki master, yoga instructor, and holistic wellness coach. Jayne Marie has partnered with the Charming Cat Corner to create an event that combines the mediative experience of yoga with the healing experience of feline interaction. Charming Cat Corner is an in-store cat adoption center where people can hang out and interact with cats up for adoption.
The Yoga Meow event will invite those interested in adopting a cat to a unique yoga-centered experience. The class will offer a 45-minute yoga session composed of yin postures with a beginner-friendly vinyasa flow. After resting in savasana, participants will be offered a reiki energy healing session as well. After the class events, attendees will have the chance to interact with the cats at the store, all of which are adoptable.
