The 6th annual Caribbean-American Heritage Month Festival is taking place in Houston next month, presented by the Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas,
Caribbean-American Heritage Month is celebrated throughout the United States, and it celebrates the culture of countries such as Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Puerto Rico.
This year’s festival is set to have a variety of musical and cultural performances from artists such as Anthony T. and T-Rock and Shanade, as well as the Adrenaline Carnival Mas Band. Dance groups like Raices Dominicans and Doble Opcion (Cuba) will also be performing. In addition, there will be many cultural displays, demonstrations, and poetry readings.
A wide variety of traditional foods and drinks will be available for purchase. Vendors will be selling general merchandise and arts and crafts. Vendor spaces are still available to rent at a cost of $400 for food and $250 for nonfood vendors.
Vendors who decide to participate in the festival may invest in signage and Banners provided by Houston printing companies. These will help to draw more attention to the individual booths.
The festival will be held at Jones Plaza on Saturday, June 3 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $20 each. For the latest information, or to become a vendor, contact the Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas at 713-783-5779.Get a Free Quote for Banners
