Vietnam is a country with a rich cultural tradition, and a Houston festival is in the works that will put this front and center.
The organizers of Viet Cultural Fest explained that it is the largest function of its type on offer in Texas, and it has a schedule that runs for nine hours. Those age 4 and under are invited to attend free of charge, and tickets for the other attendees start at $12.00 each.
The function will bring together a variety of performers that will provide Vietnamese entertainment, and there will also be traditional games and friendly competitions. Foodies can spend time visiting the various cuisine options, and the activity’s theme for this year is “Uống Nước Nhớ Nguồn”, which translates to “When drinking water, remember its source”. A variety of Vietnamese owned businesses will have displays set up, and this is just the start of what’s been planned for the day.
