The 2015 Freedom Over Texas will once again be held in July in Houston. Known as the Mayor’s Official 4th of July Celebration, it involves six hours of events and activities and has been a tradition in Houston for decades.
The renovated Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou, will be the site for the Independence Day celebration.
The festival attracts famous recording artists from across the country, as well as local talent. Other activities scheduled this year include the Southwest Airlines Sky Stage, which will feature vintage aircraft flying over. A kids’ entertainment section, Walmart All-American Kids Zone, will be available for the younger attendees to enjoy.
Military assets will be found in the KBR Liberty Park, with helicopters and tanks on display from all of the branches. A new feature, Bud Light Lime-a-Rita Beach Bash, will feature the All-American Beer Garden.
All four of the professional teams in Houston will be featured at the Dr. Pepper One of a Kind Zone with music, team set-ups, food, and an area for cooling.
Local Print companies are available to assist with materials needed for an event of this magnitude. Banners are used to highlight areas and directions and make highly visible signage.
