The 43rd annual Pasadena Strawberry Festival is taking place for three days in just under a month’s time.
The festival will have lots to offer for everyone in the family. The children's area will have a petting zoo, pony rides, pig races, and a balloon artist, among other activities. There will also be carnival rides and games for everyone. For the adults, there is a wine tent and musical entertainment that will be provided by such acts as the Charlie Parker Band, Different Beast, Aaron Watson, and Eric Paslay.
Food and drink will also be available for purchase, including strawberry shortcake.
Other activities taking place during this three-day event include a festival parade, BBQ cook-off, and mud volleyball. In addition, there are set to be stunt shows, a baby parade and an alligator show. Contests taking place include washer pitching and a beauty pageant.
More than 300 vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of items, such as art and crafts and official merchandise.
It is likely that in order to spread word of this event around the area, including to those living in Houston, organizers will likely invest in Flyers or poster printing services.
The Pasadena Strawberry Festival will be held at the Pasadena Fairgrounds from May 20 to 22. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for seniors and children between the ages of 5 and 12, while a three-day pass is $30. Call 281-991-9500 to learn more.
