The 36th Houston Italian Festival is presented by the Italian Cultural and Community Center Houston, and will be held at the University of St. Thomas on the surrounding grounds in a matter of months.
The annual event has expanded the festivities this year with some new attractions. A Classic Car Show will take place on one day, with cars representing England, Italy, and Germany on display, along with owners available to discuss the various classics. The display will appeal to attendees of all ages.
The opportunity to celebrity Le Sagra on the Taste of Italy Pavilion Stage will be on the agenda too, and a raffle with prizes including a trip valued at $6,000 to Italy will be part of the activities. Other prizes include a tour of Houston’s finest restaurants, with a total value of $1,000. Participating restaurants are all Italian-themed and include Antica Osteria, Arturo’s Uptown Italiano, Luigi’s Cucina Italiano, and Piatto Ristorante. The third prize is a $500 gift certificate donated by DreamRooms Furniture.
Local Print companies can assist with services for the event, such as flyer printing. Flyers are distributed prior to the event to market it and generate sponsor, exhibitor, and attendee participation.
