Indian theme to Houston business meeting

The Greater Houston Partnership organization will present ‘Coffee with the Consuls: Indian Economy’ tomorrow. The meeting will take place at the GHP Board Room on Smith Street.

Since India is recognized as the world’s 10th largest economy, it could offer high potential for companies based in Houston. A featured speaker at the conference will be the Honorable Parvathaneni Harish, who is the Consul General of the Republic of India in Houston.

The other featured guest speaker will be Sanjay Ramabhadran, who is the President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston. The panel discussion will be moderated by Russ Caper, who is the host of the BusinessMakers Radio Show.

‘Indian Economy: Opportunities for Business and Industry’ will focus on discussion about the newly elected Prime Minister’s commitment to growth within such industries as manufacturing. Ranking as the 12th largest trading partner internationally, India’s trade value has significantly increased the past decade.

Events of this type often use poster printing services from local Print companies for a marketing tool. The Posters are usually produced in full color with a gloss top coat and hung throughout the area to promote such events.

Getting underway at 8:30 am tomorrow, December 17, a breakfast of traditional Indian cuisine will be part of the program. More information about the event is available on the Greater Houston Partnership website. For questions, contact 713-844-3651.
