Houston venue hosts shrimp cookery session

Central Market Houston offers the public a variety of opportunities to pick up new cookery skills, and it has scheduled a session that will put a popular shellfish front and center.

The venue will be teaching how to prepare shrimp in four different ways. It will be hands-on activity, and the attendees will be working in small groups.

The workshop, which is for those 18 and up, will see its attendees bake, fry, broil and grill shrimp, and once the food is ready, the learners will sit down together to share the meal. The ticket holders that are 21 years of age will be treated to a glass of wine to pair with their food, and fried coconut shrimp, baked Greek shrimp, mango salad with shrimp and marinated broiled shrimp are all on the menu. As safety waivers will need to be signed before class, the ticket holders have been asked to arrive five minutes early.

Learning new recipes can be a lot of fun, especially when it's done along with a group. Recipe cards and other handouts as well as Letterheads, waivers and other business Forms for an activity can be prepared by a professional printer.

This event that will make shrimp the star of the show is scheduled for February 2nd. The venue is located at 3815 Westheimer Road Houston. Tickets are $95.00 each.
