Houston's shellfish fans will soon be treated to a feast featuring oysters served in a variety of styles, and the charity of choice for the occasion will be one that supports the health of Galveston Bay.
The Galveston Bay Foundation has set the date for its 2025 Oyster Festival, and a roster of local eateries will be showing off their top oyster dishes. Those interested can choose from three different ticket types, and anyone who would like to go the extra mile may also choose to make a donation.
At least 15 oyster farmers and restaurants will be taking part, and each of the dishes on the menu will put these popular shellfish front and center. Live music will keep everyone entertained, and an assortment of cocktails are on the drinks menu. While they mix and mingle, the guests will be invited to view exhibits that showcase the impact of the organizer’s Oyster Shell Recycling Program.
A fundraiser can range from a casual picnic to a formal gala, and a professional printing company can lend a hand no matter the size of a celebration. Its in-house graphic design team can design a logo to incorporate on Letterheads and the custom materials.
The 2025 Houston Oyster Festival will be serving up fun on the half shell on April 5th. General Admission, VIP and General Admission plus drink tickets are available, and the function will be held at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park.
