The Houston Via Corori Street Painting Festival is taking place this month over two days, raising funds for The Center for Hearing and Speech.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘A Colorful World’. More than 250 local and national artists will be on hand to create incredible paintings on the roads and sidewalks of Hermann Square. There will also be art activities for people of all ages.
Three stages will be providing live entertainment over the two days. Musical guests are set to include groups such as Tightn’ Up, Cover Letter, The Gents, and Colonial Blue. Other entertainment will be provided by Cass Barrington Irish Dancers and the Three Balloons Entertainment Puppet Show.
Food will also be available for purchase. VIP passes are available for $40 and include food and drink, games like trivia and yoga, and access to a private lounge.
This popular event attracts approximately 30,000 visitors each year. Professional Houston brochure printers are often asked to provide printed advertising to help spread the word.
The Houston Via Corori Street Painting Festival will be held at Herman Square at City Hal from November 19 to 20 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Admission is $7 in advance or $10 at the gate. To find out more about this popular annual event, call 713-520-8317.
