The Luminaries of the Game Grand Gala event will take place in Houston on Super Bowl weekend. It is presented by the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee.
Proceeds from the gala will be donated to Touchdown Houston, which funds several nonprofit organizations in the city. The goal is to raise $1m, which will be matched by the NFL Foundation.
The evening will begin with a red-carpet entrance and then followed by a cocktail reception. This will be followed by dinner and a program. The emcee for the gala will be Chris Berman, while the program will honor Janice and Robert McNair for their contributions to the city.
Many NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame members and other well-known players will be on hand to celebrate the event. They include Eric Dickerson, Paul Krause, and Tony Dorsett.
Premium tables are available for purchase. The top one costs $150,000 for a table of 10 and will ensure one Hall of Fame member will sit with them. Other tables cost from $25,000 to $75,000 and include Super Bowl tickets and recognition during the event.
