The S.T.E.A.M. Faire is taking place next month in Houston.
It will be held at Idea Lab Kids and will feature a variety of S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematic) based activities. There will be a number of stations set up in various categories.
Activities will include making something to eat at the Cooking Corner, learning about 3D designs at the Art Station, and having the chance to build and battle robots. Guests can also make their own Blinky Bugs and design and Print a 3D Pokémon. They can also attempt drone flying to learn about aviation, and enjoy a Bollywood dance performance.
Educator training sessions on the day will include a hands-on workshop entitled ‘From S.T.E.M. to S.T.E.A.M. in your Classroom’.
Admission is free with the donation of a can of nonperishable food, which will be given to the Houston Food Bank. Those planning to attend must register in advance.
Families from all over the Houston area who are interested in the sciences are sure to want to know about this event. Organizers may invest in flyer or poster printing services to help spread the word in the community.
