Upcoming street fair celebrates fashion and creativity

The 4th annual Madness of Main Street festival is taking place next month in Houston Heights, and is seen as a collaborative effort of the creative community.

The festival will have three stages and approximately 20 artists are set to perform in a variety of musical genres on those stages. Among those that have already agreed to appear at this year’s event are Bayou City Funk, Hector Ward and the Big Time, Mark Drew, The Ruiners, Soul Creatures, Something Fierce, and Traci Lavois Thiebaud. There will be an art installation by Donkeeboy as well.

There will be an art and fashion market where artisans will be selling their handmade, unique works of art. There will also be live interviews, makeovers performed by artists, and a panel discussion featuring Fab Latinos. Other activities taking place are set to include the Kscopehouston Talent Search booth and food trucks.

This event will likely attract people from all over the Houston area. To advertise and to spread the word, organizers may decide to invest in flyer printing services.

Madness on Main Street is taking place at the White Oak Music Hall and Raven Tower in Houston Heights on May 28 beginning at 4:00 PM. Admission is $15 per person. For more information and the complete schedule of entertainment, visit the official event website.
