Houston museum plans return of Halloween celebration

A highly anticipated Houston event will provide its ticket holders with special, nighttime access to one of its venues, and they will be able to dance the night away and sip on some special libations.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science will be bringing a night of spine-tingling excitement when it hosts its Mixers and Eixers: Spirits and Skeletons event. Everyone can come in costume, and there will be a variety of activities in the mix.

Those who plan on attending may need to book a babysitter, as it will before adults only. Live music, bespoke cocktails and other festive fun will be on offer and in the venue’s Wortham Giant Screen Theatre, the film “Sinners’ will be screened. Those who enjoy singing can head to the Thriller Karaoke Lounge in the Burke Baker Planetarium. Many of the location's halls will be open for exploration, and revelers looking for an even more immersive experience can choose the VIP ticket. These include early access, three dedicated lounges and other perks.

To commemorate the occasion, special Spirits and Skeletons Collector's Cups have been prepared. Custom graphic design work can be sourced from Print shops that supply this specialized service.

The 2026 installment of this spooky celebration will be held on October 31st. Early bird tickets will be available until September 30th, and after that, they go back to the regular price.
