Houston gardeners enjoy a season that’s longer than their neighbors to the north, and a sale will help them access an assortment of plants with a local provenance.
Birds Houston, which was formerly known as Houston Audubon, has organized its annual Natives Nursery Fall Plant Sale. It will make it a snap for area gardeners of all skill levels to create paintings that provide food shelter and more to birds and other wildlife, and it's been scheduled for the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary.
This market-style occasion will offer plants for almost every situation and growing location, and they will all be well suited to local conditions Everyone can “pick the brains" of the volunteers who will be on hand to offer advice and other assistance, and grasses, wildflowers and forbs such as goldenrod and milkweed may all be in the mix. There will be helpers on site to carry purchases out to customer’s cars.
Organizations that host markets and other recurring events may find lots of budget friendly options for printing services at a local Print professional. It can provide reusable signage, Banners, Letterheads, vendor contracts and branded clothing for staff and volunteers.
