The Women's Business Expo and Pop-Up Shop is taking place this month in Houston. It is presented by She-Unit Lakesha and Tonya.
The expo takes place in March because it is Women's History Month when women-oriented businesses often take center stage. It is meant as a woman supporting women event that will offer advice in the life/work balance. Several speakers will be talking about their experiences and sharing their thoughts. Speakers will include Lady Tachura Wittaker, Jordyn, Carlishia "CJ" and Randi Kalich.
Vendors of all types will be on hand and will be selling items such as body care products, clothing and accessories. The businesses will all be women-owned.
In addition to shopping and hearing informative speakers, this will be an excellent networking event for current business women and those planning to start a business.
Guests are expected to wear masks and social distancing protocols will be followed.
Businesswomen in Houston are always ready to support one another and this event will likely be no different. Flyer printing firms are often asked to distribute information about such events in the community.
The Expo and pop-up shop will be held at the Courtyard by Marriot in Houston on March 20 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. For more information and to register, visit the Eventbrite page for this event.
