Upcoming festival brings international stars to Houston

The 8th annual Free Press Summer Fest is taking place in Houston for two days next month.

The show will feature approximately 55 performances on four stages. Among those that have been confirmed for this year’s show are Lorde, The Shins, Carnage, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Black Swan Yoga, and Cage the Elephant.

There will be several bars at the venue and food will be available for purchase. There will also be water stations, a cell phone charging area, and photo booths. In addition, several art installations will be set up.

Souvenirs of the festival will be sold and lockers can be rented for $35 each.

The festival attracts thousands of visitors each year from all over the Houston area. To help spread the word, organizers may invest in poster or flyer printing services; these items can be easily and inexpensively distributed in the city.

The Free Press Summer Fest will take place at the Buffalo Bayou in Eleanor Tinsley Park from June 3 to 4. Tickets are $148 for two days. VIP passes are $250 and include the use of the VIP lounge, access to private bars, and air-conditioned washrooms. Platinum passes cost $999 and also include dinner each night, the use of a golf cart, access to the artist’s lounge, and a gift.
