The 2nd annual Fajita Festival is taking place next month in Houston.
The festival is a salute to Mexican culture, cuisine, and liquor. Grill masters will be on hand to serve up some great barbecue dishes featuring beef, chicken, and seafood. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for People’s Choice Fajita Award.
There will be live musical entertainment from local bands, performances of Baile Folklorico, DJs, and live artist painting demonstrations. There will also be costumed characters roaming around, interactive games with prizes, and wrestling.
Food and drink of all kinds will be available for purchase, and there will be a beer and spirit garden. Several eating contests will take place, no doubt interesting those with a fondness for tacos, watermelon and jalapeno peppers.
VIP tickets are available for $100 for adults and $50 for children. The adult ticket includes a fajita buffet, tequila and vodka tasting, 30 drink tickets, and a 28-ounce souvenir cup. Children will have access to the buffet, 15 drink tickets and a souvenir mug.
