The ACC Scholarship Awards Luncheon is taking place next month in Houston. It is a presentation of the Asian Chamber of Commerce, the ACC Scholarship Foundation, the City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity, and the Bellaire Rotary Club.
The scholarships are worth $1,000 and are given to high school seniors who have already been accepted into accredited colleges. In order to win, students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and participate in community services and school activities. Recipients are nominated by the public.
The luncheon is set to celebrate the achievements of this year’s scholarship winners. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the recipients and learn their stories while making new connections with their business peers.
In addition to the awards, this is also an important networking opportunity for members of the Asian Chamber of Commerce and the local business community. Many planning to attend will likely be placing a new business card printing order with their favorite printing company in Houston to ensure that their contact information is current and correct.
