Local author event starts Houstons new year

The H-Town Book Fair is taking place on two consecutive Saturdays in Houston in January.

The fair is presented by the Social Vegan, Sleepy Panda Publishing and the Cosmic Creature Chocolate Company. It will be open to people of all ages and admission is free, although those attending are encouraged to register in advance on the Eventbrite website.

This is an opportunity for local writers and poets to introduce themselves to the general public, as well as a chance for people to discover their next favorite writer. There will be author readings, poetry performances, and plenty of Books of all types for sale. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. Those attending are welcome to bring their pets with them.

To advertise events like this in the Houston area, local Stationery printers are often asked to provide printed marketing materials such as Flyers and Brochures. They also may provide Banners and signage for booths.

This is only one event to take place at the Social Beer Garden, which is home to vendors' markets, block parties and bake-offs.

The book fair will take place at the Social Beer Garden HTX on the Saturday afternoons of January 2 and January 9 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM each day. For the most current information about this event, or to become a participant, call 346-274-1914.
