The KidFitStrong Fitness Challenge: Houston is taking place in the city next month.
While the challenge is mainly for children, adults are welcome to test their own fitness.
The main part of the challenge will be the 10-station inflated obstacle course. Participants will take part in activities such as sprinting, sit-ups, jumping jacks, a 20-foot confidence climb, and a 60-meter dash to finish it off. There will also be a toddler course for younger children aged three and up.
In addition to the inflated obstacle course, there will be several extreme rides available for a slight charge. These will include bumper balls and body zorbs. There will also be additional programming (possibly speakers and musical performers) and food and drink available for purchase.
KidFitStrong Fitness Challenges take place in several U.S. cities and aim to promote the importance of personal fitness. Each participant must sign a medical waiver before taking part in the challenge.
The location of this year’s KidFitStrong Fitness Challenge: Houston has not been announced yet. Last years was held at the Hilton University of Houston.
