The Freedom over Texas music festival is taking place next month in Houston. It is presented by CITGO and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events.
The festival will be held in two parks – Eleanor Tinsley Park and Sam Houston Park. There will be four music stages and a Bayou Beer Garden. Among the performers who are slated to appear at this year’s festival are Cupid and the Dance Party Express, The Mavericks, Mary Griffin, James Bolden, and Chris Young.
There will also be an American Kids’ Stage that will feature performances from Frozen and Peter Pan, jungle animals, superheroes, and an aerialist show.
Food and drink will be available for purchase during the afternoon and evening.
The event will finish off with a fireworks spectacular that is set to begin around 9:30 PM.
Sponsorships are still available to ensure the festival will return next year. No doubt many families from the Houston area will be excited to attend this celebration of Independence Day. To advertise events like this in the community, organizers often work with a local printing services company that will provide products such as Flyers and Brochures.
The Freedom of Texas festival will be held on July 4 from 4:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate. For the latest information, call 713-837-0311.
