Southwest Airlines will soon present the Freedom Over Texas 4th of July event in Houston, with over 150,000 people are expected to attend.
As the promoter, the Mayor’s Official July 4th Celebration has taken place for decades, offering a full six hours of fun and activities at Eleanor Tinsley Park. There will be an abundance of entertainment with five stages and local, regional, and national performers. Featured artist Jennifer Nettles – famous country music star and part of the Sugarland duo – will perform. The recipient of five ASCAP songwriting awards, Nettles has sold over 22 million albums and singles.
The title sponsor, Southwest Airlines, will host the Sky Stage, which will feature vintage aircraft for the history buffs.
There will be dozens of exhibitors and food booths. The participants generally have banner printing for the spaces handled by a local Print company. Banners can be hung across the back of the booth, from the top, or from a table.
Walmart will provide an All-American Kids’ Zone consisting of face painting, clowns, live magicians, jugglers, and stilt walkers. Free games including ‘Jungle Maze’, ‘Bungee Trampoline’, and a rock wall will be part of the fun.
