Houston grillers who are looking to up their game when it comes to the smoker may want to reserve their seat now for an upcoming culinary course.
The organizers of Brisket 101 promise an evening of learning how to prepare a smoked brisket from scratch. Tickets are $100, including a sandwich sample.
Students will learn the preliminary preparations for the meat, such as trimming, prepping, and brining it, or using a dry rub. They will be taught how to use a wood smoking unit, and topics including temperatures used, how to time the process and also how to wrap, slice and serve the final product are all on the agenda. After class, everyone will be invited to linger and sample some pre-smoked brisket sandwiches with the other learners. There will be an option on offer for anyone who would like to order a R-C Ranch Wagyu brisket ahead of the event.
A cookery class can be both fun and tasty. Printed recipe cards, basic cookbooks, ingredient lists, and other class materials can all be prepared by Stationery printers.
This introduction to the art of preparing smoked brisket that is juicy and flavorful will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 13. It will wrap up at 7:30. Tickets, as well as the wagyu brisket, can be ordered through its online listing.
