Houston greenspace plans summer event series

An event series will provide ways to help beat the summer heat in Houston and have fun at the same time.

The Park after Dark initiative will be running on select Thursday evenings in July and August. Discovery Green will be the location for these gatherings, and they will all run for two hours.

Each of the celebrations will feature a lineup of live performers, and food trucks have also been provided with the opportunity to participate. Free Line dancing classes are on the agenda from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and there will be special lighting to add an extra festive touch. Those who would like to cool off can splash in the Gateway Fountain, and the venue has plenty of shops and eateries nearby to discover, as well as parking options.

Outdoor activities are a common sight in many communities, and these bring neighbors together in a spirit of fun. A poster printing company can prepare a variety of Posters and other publications that can be highly effective in promoting a function to those who may be interested in joining the experience.

Houston’s Discovery Green, which is located at 1500 McKinney Street, will be welcoming attendees on selected Thursday evenings, starting on July 11. The final installment of the series will be held on Thursday, August 8.
